Arthur Duncan headed home "Hammy's" cross, to give Hibs a half-time lead. However, Joe Harper and Willie Young then scored to win it for the hosts.

Eddie Turnbull said - "When we were in front at Aberdeen last week I was quite confident we could win and it was disappointing that the Dons scored from two set pieces."

Referee :- J.W. Paterson, Bothwell.
